DNB IN CARDIOLOGY |

| Wockhardt Hospital & Heart Institute is recognized for the training of postgraduates for the National Board of Examinations.
DNB Program in Cardiology is designed to train young physicians in the field of Interventional Cardiology and to enable them to offer specialized care to cardiac patients from the stage of diagnosis to the management of cardiac diseases. The course offers candidates an opportunity to get trained in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques in a state-of-the-art facility.
The candidates will attend to patient care activities like daily rounds, clinics, emergencies, case presentation, journal review meetings, symposia, seminars, assignments, lectures, conferences and research work etc. as per the National Board of Examinations guidelines. The candidates will have posting to cardio-diagnostic unit, ICCU and Interventional Cardiology unit.

DNB IN CARDIO THORACIC-VASCULAR SURGERY |

Wockhardt Hospital & Heart Institute is recognized for the training of postgraduates for the National Board of Examinations.
DNB Program in Cardio Thoracic- Vascular Surgery is designed to train young surgeons in the field of Cardio Thoracic & Vascular surgery and this program offers excellent opportunity for focused training for surgeons interested in a career in Cardio Thoracic surgery.
The candidates will be attached to CVTS Surgery division of the hospital under a multidisciplinary team consisting of Cardio Thoracic Surgeons, Cardiac Anaesthesiologists, Cardiologists, Critical Care Nurses and the critical care Intensive care service that manages patients in the Surgical ICU. Training will be given to selected candidates to acquire skills to assist cardiac surgeons and then to perform surgeries under guidance. Trainees will take an active part in clinical discussions, seminars, journal clubs and management of patients with cardiac problems and research work etc. as per the National Board of Examinations guidelines. The candidates will have posting to Cardio Thoracic Surgery, Cardio-diagnostic unit, SCCU and Anaesthesiology unit.

| Wockhardt Hospital & Heart Institute will collect annual training charges of Rs.50,000-00 towards following :
- Tuition Fees - Rs.15,000-00
- Library Fees - Rs. 5,000-00
- Internet/Computer Lab Fees - Rs. 10,000-00
- Guest Lectures, Seminar/Conference Fees - Rs. 10,000-00
- Six Monthly theory / practical exam fees - Rs. 10,000-00
