Cardiology - the department is led by reputed, skilled and highly experienced Cardiologists providing round the clock coverage. The 13-bedded ICCU is manned by qualified physicians (MD- Int. Medicine) apart from trained Residents. The care protocols followed are of international standards with state-of-the art techniques using only US FDA approved materials (eg:- Stents). Apart from providing the highest patient safety, the center has an excellent clinical outcome. The center is known for the Primary Angioplasty program adhering to the Door-to-Balloon time of 90 minutes. It is the hospital of choice for people residing in the immediate surrounding areas, especially during emergency (Chest pain).

Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery - The department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at Wockhardt Heart Centre, Hyderabad offers a comprehensive range of surgical procedures at its fully equipped theatre-ICU complex.
The Cardiothoracic team at WHC is a cohesive, well-trained and experienced group of professionals who follow standard practice guidelines established by the leading Cardiac surgical centers in the world resulting in standard patient outcomes. The team is well prepared to handle all elective and emergent surgical procedures.
Cardiac operations like primary and redo Coronary Bypass Surgery (Beating Heart and On-pump), Valve repairs and replacements, corrective repairs of common birth defects of the heart (ASD, VSD, PDA, Fallot's Tetralogy) are performed with standard results at the center.
A unique procedure offered at WHC is Endoscopic Harvest of Radial artery /Veins during bypass operations, a minimally invasive procedure that dramatically reduces the postoperative pain and wound complications in such patients.
