Take a brief tour to Wockhardt Heart Hospital

We can print reams of paper describing our new hospital, but we do remember the adage 'a picture speaks a thousand words'. So here's a visual treat of the many facets of WHH

Cath Labs of Tomorrow . at WHH

Wockhardt Heart Hospital has three state-to-the-art Cardiac Cath Labs, the first of its kind in India. The lab has digital subtraction angiography (DSA) to provide clear images for precise indentification of the arterial blockage. Moreover, this latest product offers special 'CARE' package enabling low dost of radiation, for greater safety of the patient as well as interventional cardiologist. The 'Magic Web Solution' allows the cardiologists and surgeons to review from anywhere in the hospital.

An Ultra-modern OT Complex

There are six world-class operation theatres with ultra-modern facilities and fixtures, which are the first in India, such as the laminar air flow which changes air 25 times per hour, with pressure differential at different areas in the OT Complex. This ensures absolute sterility in the OT as per global standards. There is a dedicated AC unit in each OT room to eliminate intermixing of OT environment within the OT complex. Most of the equipment in the OT is installed with ceiling support system, providing uncluttered access and movement for the surgical team for ease of conducting surgical procedures.

Well equipped patient - centric ICUs

WHH houses 36 Intensive Care Units. Each ICU bed is equipped with life support systems including the latest ventilators and defibrillators for quick revival of the patient. An uninterrupted cardiac monitoring system INFINITY is placed at each ICU bed. This does not lead to any loss of vital data when the patient is being transferred from the ambulance or from the OT or Cath Lab to the ICU. There are multiple computerized stations for personalized patient care and monitoring 24-hours round the clock, thus eliminating the centralized nursing station.
