The Association of Hospitals of Eastern India hosted a mega event in February to promote Kolkata as a destination for healthcare facilities within the country and abroad. Wockhardt Hospital & Kidney Institute (WHKI), Kolkata, participated in the three-day event. Called the Kolkata Health Fair 2004, it comprised an exhibition, seminars and free health camps by the eleven member hospitals of the association, of which WHKI is a member.
