Mumbai doctors meet Harvard Medical directors

A heavy downpour and Mumbai's traffic delays notwithstanding, over 200 guests - doctors, chief medical officers of companies and their spouses, arrived at the convention centre of Renaissance hotel on August 3 to listen to guests from Harvard Medical International speak on 'Harvard's perspective of world-class cardiac clinical care'.

Harvard Medical's Dr. Mehul Mehta, VicePresident and Director, and Dr. Harvey Makadon, Director of Health Systems, spoke about HMl's vision and mandate as well as its association with Wockhardt. Albert Gillis, Senior Consultant, who was closely associated with the Mulund hospital and Elizabeth Brown, Director of Clinical Services, were also present.

Medical presentations were made by Dr. Shantesh Kaushikand Dr. Jamshed Dalal.

Our Chairman summed up the proceedings with a detailed presentation on the state-of-the-art facilities at the hospital and described Wockhardt's guiding philosophy that every city and town in India should have access to a world-class healthcare facility. The question and answer session was followed by a sumptuous dinner, and some stimulating conversation among the medical minds present that evening.
