He received the Hargobind scholarship for a three
month visiting fellowship in 2000 for the Institute
for Craniofacial and Reconstructive surgery at
Providence Hospital, Southfield, Michigan, under
the able guidance of Dr. Ian Jackson. Here, he
had a wide exposure to complex craniofacial and
cleft surgery as well as aesthetic surgeries in
large numbers.
He had occasion to visit the
institute again for two weeks in April 2005. He
also visited the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat
Hospital (MEETH) in May this year, where he gained
exposure to large volumes of aesthetic procedures,
done by pioneers like Drs. Sherell Aston and Daniel
Baker. He also spent two weeks visiting Dr. Rollin
Daniel in Newport Beach.
Dr. Daniel is an acknowledged
master in rhinoplasty. He has also visited aesthetic
surgery centres in Bahrain. |
