Dr. P.A Kale completed his graduate & postgraduate
medical education from Seth G.S Medical College
& K.E.M hospital, Mumbai. He received his
Post-doctoral training in U.S.A at Tufts University
Medical Centre Hospitals Boston and Memorial
Hospital Worcester, Massachusetts respectively.
He is a Fellow of American College of Cardiology,
Indian College of Cardiology, Indian Society
of Electrocardiology, and Indian College of
Physicians.
He is a Life Member rof Cardiology Society
of India, Association of Physicians of India,
Indian Society of Electrcardiology , Indian
Society of Medical Ultrasound and Indian Society
of Clinical Pharmology.
He was a Postgraduate Teacher in Cardiology
for Mumbai University & D.N.B (Cardiology)
and an Examiner for D.M (Cardiology) for Mumbai
& Gujarat Universities and All India Institute
of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
He was Vice –President of Cardiological
Society of India and Editorial Advisor to the
Indian Heart Journal for the years 1993-94 &94-95.
After a meritotius service of over three decades
he retired from K.E.M Hospital & Seth G.S
Medical College, Mumbai as Honorary Cardiologist
& Honorary Professor of Cardiology in 1996.
During his tenure there he started and established
several Interventional Procedures like Ballon
Valvotomy of Stenotic Valves, Coil Closure of
PDA, Implementation of Permanent Pacemakers
and PCTA at the K.E.M Hospital.
He has attended & presented papers several
National and International Conferences as well
as published many articles in National &
International Journals.
His main areas of interest are Interventional
Cardiology, Stress Testing & Cardiac Rehabilitation,
and Cardiac pacemakers.
