Dr. A Jayachandra has an extensive experience and has been a specialist Pulmonology and Chest Medicine for the past two decades. He the first one in Twin cities to have set up a Chest out patient service with all the Diagnostic facilities. He has pioneered the advancement of practice in chest medicine in Hyderabad, and has set a trend, which now many follow. Over the years Dr. Jayachandra has been on the panel of many corporate hospitals.

Dr. Jayachandra has been performing Fibre Optic Bronchoscopies from 1987 onwards and has more than 2000 studies to his credit. He was the first one in the city to do a Bronchoscopic closure of a Broncho – Pleural Fistula post operatively. He was also the first one to use Laser with FOB, and to place Bilateral Bronchial Stents. He has done many other routine procedures such as Wang Needle aspirations and Transbronchoscopic Lung Biopsies. In Pediatric Bronchoscopies the doctor has done more than 300
studies and he has done more than 100 Thoracoscopies.
