Dr. Mangala Ramachandra underwent MD in Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Mangalore with a brilliant academic record. She topped the University in Internal Medicine in her final year medical examination; secured first rank for the University in her MD.

Her paper on Gestational Diabetes in India received high appreciation and was published in the prestigious International Journal of Diabetes. She has rich experience in teaching from eminent hospitals in Mangalore and Bangalore, and conducted many workshops and CMEs for the budding gynecologists. She attended the Grand Rounds and, Morbidity and Mortality meetings at the LA County-USC hospital, USA, one of the leading teaching hospital in US. Her regular exposure here helped her to understand the protocols of management.

Dr. Mangala has over 20 years of experience with her areas of special interest being High Risk Obstetrics, Minimal Access procedures in Gynaecology, Well Woman Counseling and Adolescent Gynaecology.
