Dr. MURALI MANOHAR, a consultant cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon, is widely experienced in minimally invasive surgeries. He was part of the team that conducted the first minimal invasive bypass surgery, the first awake bypass surgery and the first awake valve replacement in India.. Over the last 20 years, apart from being a specialist thoracic surgeon, he has special interest in redo-cardiac surgeries and video-assisted thoracic surgeries (VATs). He has worked with Prof. Solomon Victor, an internationally acclaimed cardiothoracic surgeon at the Heart Institute, Chennai, and has performed minimal invasive cardiac surgeries and various lung surgeries. He has presented over 250 papers in many national and international conferences.
