Dr Prabha Ramakrishna did her post graduation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, DGO from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, and went on to do her DNB.

Dr. Prabha Ramakrishna has a good teaching experience in Gynaec Oncology with a special exposure on colposcopy. Has worked with Dr. Sulochana Gunasheela, a pioneer in the field of In-vitro fertilization and Gynaecological endoscopic surgery in Karnataka.

Dr. Prabha underwent higher specialist training in UK and was sponsored by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London, through the prestigious and highly competitive Overseas Training Fellowship Scheme. She was one among the few Gynaecologists from all Commonwealth countries to be selected for this. She gained a lot of exposure to managing high risk pregnancies. She was awarded the MRCOG.

Her interest in Gynaecological Endoscopy led her to undergo training at the Minimal Access Surgery Training Centre, University of Birmingham, UK. To further enhance her endoscopic skills, she proceeded to Germany, and trained with the world renowned Prof. Mettler, who is a pioneer in the field of Gynaecological Endoscopy. Her special interest includes Minimal Access Surgery in Gynaecology, Colposcopy clinic and High risk pregnancy
management
