Dr. SHANKAR D DESAI has over twenty one years experience and have carried out extensive research on Interferon Alpha-2B in Heipes Porogenitalis, Keloids, Psoriasis and Leprosy.

Presented guest lectures at VII International Conference at Delhi in 1994 and at The Asian Conference at Singapore in May 1994.

Again, his works were presented in January 1996 at 4th Asian Dermatological Congress at Dubai.

He has also presented the Keloid study at Calicut Medical College, Kerala and later on this subject was taken up for thesis and further studies.
