DR. V. SUBASH CHANDRA is one of the most respected cardiologists in the medical fraternity in India with over
27 years of experience in cardiology. He became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), UK, and
went on to do his fellowship program in the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), UK. He has worked at the The
Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford, and at The General Infirmary, Leeds. After completing his advanced
fellowship in cardiology, he became an instructor in medicine and an attending physician (division of cardiology)
at Cornell University Medical College and Hospital Cornell Medical Center, New York.
He is a pioneer in non-coronary interventional procedures in India and is an authority on device closures and
endovascular repairs. With his impeccable skills, he has performed a vast number of coronary and non-coronary
interventions. He has special interests in the non-surgical treatment of aneurysm repairs, thoracic aorta, infra-renal
abdominal aortic aneurysm and complex vascular problems. Indeed, he is a teacher to many who practice these
procedures across the state and the country.
